32 year old who has spells injured every season gets injured again. Who could have foreseen this? Luckily we have significant depth in the striker position......
Sorry Marv.
The problem is that we miss the 'loads of chances' we create.
We have needed another striker now for ages.
And now it's come to this.
Oh and Laporte isn't fit for the first game.
WTF is going on?
Agree with you except we do have a problem converting chances particularly in tight games against better opposition and it costs us (Lyon,Arsenal). The issue isn't finishing chances, we scored over a 100 goals in the league. The issue is when good teams can defend vs us we revert to pumping crosses into the box with only our 5'9 striker in there, so most chances tend to be half chances which are missed more often than not. It's a bewildering plan b and almost never works.
A big striker might thrive in our plan b but they rarely possess the other attributes Pep seeks(see Ibra).
Another option would be an elite dribbler(like Messi) who can take players on and create the space to create good chances. We don't have that as Raz blows hot and cold with it. Maybe Torres can bring that.
A third would be another midfielder that can shoot from distance(only have Kev).
well your a cock then...Errr, I have posted several observations on the previous pages.
I have nothing red in my house, bluemoon is being switched off until that imoji goes.
Sergio has always missed games. We won’t replace him until he leaves. Jesus and Sterling will be fine until he is back.
We have 1 of the best squads in world football. How is everyone going to react when we buy a cb before the window closes?
The overreaction before a ball is kicked has gone OTT. So much fear and loathing.
We are City, we fight to the end.
Get a grip and support the team. Turn the media off it is filled with a load of wankers anyway.
If we are happy with top 4 yes.
