Aguero injures hamstring on international duty

Bony can score goals. Make no mistake.
He's had injuries and little game time. He will now know this is his chance and I think he will do well.
Just needs that first goal and then he wont stop.

You never know we might even have a Zabba/Sagna situation where we even debate if Kun should come straight back in for Bony in 6 weeks time.

Pellegrini said, at half time in the Newcastle game, he was receiving treatment for a hamstring issue didn't he? So he was carrying a strain, or at least wasn't 100%, going into the Argentina game. International football pisses me off at times, it's City that pay his wages, it's City that hold his contract, yet a players country can decide they will call up, and play, a player regardless of his physical condition. A hamstring injury, for a player like Aguero who is more prone to participate in sprints etc is likely to be a month at least. If it is a month then that's 7 games he'd miss, including 3 very important ones:-

Bournemouth (H) League
Sevilla (H) Europe
Manchester United (A) League
Crystal Palace (H) Carling Cup
Norwich (H) League
Sevilla (A) Europe
Aston Villa (A) League

Which leads you into the next international break, at which point he'll no doubt be called up again by Argentina, fully fit or not, and run the risk of injury again.

Cannot catch a fucking break.

Bony with a run of games should be capable, he seems to be in the same rut Aguero was before Newcastle where things just aren't going right for him, he could have had 2 against Newcastle in his short cameo. Hopefully he can get a goal and bring his own confidence back. Also hope to see Nacho get some time as I really like the look of him.

And perhaps Bony - with a run of games - can get his confidence going and show us why he was the top goalscorer in 2014. Fed by Dave and Kev, he will have more chance than he knows what to do with. Some of them are bound to go in, just on the law of averages!
I thought he looked good in the first game at west brom so hopefully with a run of games he can make an impact. We have some big games over the next 7 or 8 weeks and gives him a real chance to make his mark on the club.

Watching the clip of the game, why did he run at speed over half the pitch when the other player was going to get rid of the ball b4he he got there,

So we are most likely going into 2 Champions League matches with only Bony available because Nacho isn't even on the list? Well done. :(

I suspect Aguero's reaction after the injury, the tears etc, isn't really an indication of the severity of the injury, but more so an indication of just how frustrated he is with the seemingly constant injuries he's been picking up. As soon as he gets back from one knock or pull he seems to be struck down with something else, it really must start to affect you mentally after a while.
