Aguero to Real Madrid?

Anybody else agree that Aguero hasn't played to the level he's capable of with us yet? Now that's scary, imagine how good he'll be when he does!

He has been off form but that is down to his injury in the first game and the off-field problems he has had. He will come good.

Wasn't meant to be a knee jerk criticism mate, I honestly mean how he has played in his whole time at City this season and last. I'd put him in the world class bracket easily on that alone but given his age and attributes he is just going to get better and better from what we've seen already, that's why we need him here for the rest of his career.

Sergio not for sale at any price unless

If aletico want him £20 million with falcao

Barcelona for messi
I'd rather have Aguero than Falcao tbh. Younger, more complete a player, and a now-club legend to boot.

I didn't assume that you were making a knee jerk reaction mate so it is no problem with me. There is more to come from Aguero and I hope he is still here when we are at the next level. I hope his split from his Mrs has effected him badly.

you hope it has effected him?! why!?

The poster who said that Aguero will do whatever City tells him to do is a complete muppet. Family always comes first. If he decides to move to Spain and persuade his estranged wife and son to move there, so be it. There is nothing the club can do about it. If he does go, let us hope that we get a good price for him. I wish him and his family the very best.

Spot on eventually he will go back to Spain I am pretty sure of this, I was wondering whether his head had been turned when he looked distant earlier in the season but some of that must have been due to family issues. We don't to worry about hanging on to players, we can hold on to most as long as any other club but the trick is replacing them when they go, I know we have the capability to do this unlike clubs of the Tottenham and Arsenal variety.

i have posted before that when we got rich the first player i wanted at city was aguero, i'd be devestated if he went now. i suppose he has to some degree done his job and we are now in a better place because of him, but i'm greedy and want him to stay a lot longer. a swap plus cash deal for ronaldo? dont think madrid can afford it.

Aguero will only go forward from here. No need to sell in any capacity.

A players' peak is generally between 26-29 and at 24 years young, he is about to enter a stage in his career which has the potential to eclipse anything that world football has to offer.

An absolute travesty and something which I truly believe is 200% bullshit paper talk all rolled into an article designed to fill space and fill the papers' pockets

Love him to bits, and his qualities is there for anyone to see.

But, if he wants to go back to Spain, who could blame him? And more importantly could/should we really stop him?

I think, as I have from the beginning, that his tenure with us would be a short one, three years was my first guess, but it could be shorter given his personal situation.

If Real comes in with one of their mega-offers, let's say £50mil+ I think we will sell him.

For that kind of money we could probably get Cavani and Isco, and our squad would be a stronger one.

Having said that, I would be genuinely sad to see him leave us.
