They obviously didn't know that video existed before making up the false accusation. The statement isn't enough.... I cannot see the words 'sorry Sergio' anywhere
a quote from Sky sports website
Bournemouth confirmed in a statement: "The club have been advised that, due to a misunderstanding, an earlier statement alleging assault has been withdrawn and no assault took place."
Nothing would have become of this at all if there was no mud slung at Sergio. The controversy would be Sterling getting sent off. Minor over exuberance happens in such circumstances and Bournemouth's ground makes it easier than most. Now the whole world.....and the FA will be scrutinizing it and I expect a charge for our players inciting the disorder or some such bollocks.
That photo of Aguero. Image of the season. Trying to get the over zealous, billy big bollocks steward from using excessive force on the City fan. Absolute legend Sergio. Apology from AFC Bournemouth to him and the club should follow and the stewards should all get a bollocking.
Legal proceedings can be started against the steward but since he backed out from his claim so at most he would be required to make a statement of apology and that will be the end of that, if he persisted with his claim and investigation concluded aguero was innocent then aguero would have solid grounds to file a suit for defamation. As far as mail is concerned their defense will be they were just reporting the story and one can only wish mike dean can be sued for being mike dean
