Air fryer/Slow Cooker vs Oven

We got an air fryer a few weeks ago and it's brilliant. Well worth the money, I think we paid about £75 for it from Amazon.

If you want something cooking quickly you can't fault it. The other day we did veggie fingers and chips all from frozen to cooked in 10 minutes. Things like sausages/hash browns etc for breakfast take few minutes too. It might sound like I'm just eating crap food a lot, I' don't, but it's just an example! You can roast veg, sweet potatoes, pizza, literally all sorts and the taste is incredibly good too.

I've not checked if it's cheaper than the oven but I can't see how 10 minutes in the air fryer would be more expensive than 30 minutes plus in the oven.

Definitely worth it just for the convenience alone. We've not used out oven now for quite a while.

Has anyone got any experience with the one i posted below. I doubt ill use it all the time but for some chips, sous vide and dehydrater it looks spot on. 60 quid off atm and it seems a legit deal as google has it as about 185 or so at John Lewis etc.

Use it just like a convection oven but it cooks 20% quicker

I bought a Ninja Foodi a couple of weeks same bit of kit.It’s great ,does all kinds of meals and it’s quick and more energy efficient. I think you’ll use it far more than you think.

I bought a Lidl Silvercrest one a few months ago for a bargain 40 quid. Has a large capacity and works a treat. Haven't used my oven since.

Just fitted my new kitchen and was tempted to not install an oven as the Air fryers so good.

Which to buy, some have single place to cook but large capacity, thinking roast chicken, bit others have dual baskets, my daughter lives off chips, nuggets, sausages, fish fingers etc, so how could you cook those if you don’t have two seperate baskets?
