AJ

If we sign bale in certain matches we could play with a formation like this, I can see this really helping johnson as all the wide play wouldn't have to come from him meaning he wouldn't get marked out as much he does at the moment.

Seriously, no Silva?
Could put him behind the strikers and take out de jong or play 4-5-1 but silva cant play every game so we could play this way when he needs a rest or off form. The formation at present I cant see johnson doing much, when he plays for england who play a 4-4-2 his performances are much better.

Are you seriously saying you'd trust Lescott and NDJ against Messi & co? Thats what we're looking at.
AJ doesnt track back (unlike Bale who does).

That has got to be the worst formation I have seen in awhile.

Do you even watch City? Do you know who our key players are?

The United rumour was started by CaughtOffside, the worst football site of them all.

Sunderland or Everton seems about right for his level where he will be a star. He could have been much better than he is but seemed to go from an exciting young winger with loads of tricks to a lethargic near mid-20s winger who even makeshift full-backs like Jack Colback dealt with easily.

To me he never seemed the same after his ankle injury in the 2010/2011 season and his lack of work ethic is shocking in a team where he isn't one of the big boys, yet you have much more valuable players working their arse off. Whenever he's started a game he's seemed largely anonymous, hugging the touchline and never looking for the ball, only waiting for it.

Jesus christ, im not saying this will be our main formation as our 4-2-4 has been extremely successful but we need a plan B and I can a 4-4-2 formation really bringing out the best of johnson and dzeko.

Disagree with you strongly about AJ. He might not feature in every minute but if he starts he usually makes a significant impact in the game in terms of assists, or goals. Remember the AJ dribble to the North Stand byline and back heel for Balotelli to tap home against Bolton?

he's more than a winger. His passing is excellent - as good as anyone at the club. There are very few English players who have his touch. Wilshere and Rooney and that's all I can think of at the moment

I totally agree AJ is a great player. he should be going to the Euro's and playing in midfield or on the right of the 3

Right, lets go out spent 40m (according to the deluded Levy) to sign a player so that he help Adam Johnson.... Brilliant

When aj is on his game he's unstoppable but he only seems to do it 1 in 6 or so. Wouldn't mind keeping him but would understand him wanting to leave.
