Alan Davies upsets Liverpool fans

they don't need to do it at Anfield, they could quite easily find somewhere in north london to go for a short service in the morning before the game.

There's 24 hours in a day.
But what about all the people who lost friends and family who want to attend? If that's what Liverpool want to do then there's no reason why they shouldn't in my view. Doesn't hurt anyone (apart from that bitter gooner Davies).

In fact it's refreshing to see a club that puts its fans first, ahead of a mere football match.
Well they have hurt Chelsea's chances in the CL as they can't have an additional days rest. It stinks. If they wish to not play on that date, then fine. But they should concede the tie or 3 points. Let's see how resolute they are then.
Chelsea were happy to play on that day but wanted an early kick-off, The TV company couldn't accomodate it so it had to be put back to 6pm. Blame the TV company for that, not Liverpool. The FA should have said show it early or not at all.

Whle i can see why people not in any way connected to liverpool dont agree with the reasons for not playing on the 15th there is a very Simple solution, play both games on the Saturday on neutral venues old Trafford & the emirates, no hang on a minute the fa won't like that, why ... It's called making money

they could even play both games at wembley on the same day, one at 1245 and one at 1730 or 1945.

The reason they don't play is that they hold a memorial service on that day that many players and staff attend. Obviously they couldn't do that if they're playing.

Bollocks.... They managed a Munich game at the Swamp.... I feel the bin-dippers loss but don't agree we should pussy foot around to suit them

Bollocks. They've never played on the 15th since Hillsborough. And you can have a warning for using the M word.

They will refuse to play on that day it's as simple as that, they can pencil them in to play on that day if they want but they will under no circumstances play.
RIP the 96.
Do it then and charge them with failing to fulfill a fixture.

I'm all for giving them special dispensation when there's no impact on anyone else, but when there is I'd expect them to realise that the world continues spinning round and they need to get on with it.

The authorities have worked around it for 23 years. It's time the dippers realised the world doesn't revolve around them.
