Hmm, just watched the MOTD highlights. He wasn't too bad but I totally disagree with his suggestion the penalty was lucky, although at least he mentioned Chelsea were lucky to get a pen at the Bridge.
Lineker was worse imo, suggesting we were under the cosh at 1-0. At no point during the game did I feel that, Chelsea were pretty poor and struggled to create anything at all. Im sure I heard he grew up as a rag? That old cliche in football where they say "boyhood" team, in reality whatever team you grow up supporting is your first team, I imagine even if you play professionally for a side. Was a vicious rumour in the '83 league cup final he missed it through injury and subsequently was supporting the rags during the final. trouble is that virtually all pundits are incapable of giving clear, precise and unbiased opinions as to what they have just watched. They all have hidden agendas and realise that being on TV, Radio or in the papers, they need to stay stuff to be newsworth, contraversial and in your face, to keep up their profile.
