Why cant you understand these people cannot be defeated by military means this is not a worldwar 2 Hitler moment.

What you said earlier about Bush & Blair causing all this, I do agree with you on that.
The problem is we are where we are and these guys won't stop expanding their territory until the rest of the world stops them.
Personally I think Turkey will probably sort this out for us if we agree that they get to keep the land afterwards. I think they'd
quite like to start rebuilding the Ottoman Empire. Iraq is a failed state as is Syria. Iran will have to get the Shia areas I guess.
Both the Turks and the Iranians are mad bastards but are better than what we have there now. They can supply the ground troops.

There is no doubt that the leadership of Turkey is Islamic. To compare Turkey or even Iran to IS though is to compare your local vicar
to the guys who led the Spanish Inquisition. I'm an atheist myself but acknowledge that billions of people are religious and Islam is
one of the great religions. The people on the ground to sort this mess out, which I've already acknowledged was created by the West,
should be Islamic. IS as others have said IS NOT representative of Islam but is a medieval cult.

Rascal - if you turn on the news tommorow and see IS have killed a couple hundred of Muslims including woman and children .. What is your reaction ?? Are you 'appalled' and then just turn off the TV and get on with your day ?? And then have the nerve to go around telling people they should be allowed to have there own state ... If it were possible then Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt, Libya etc etc would not be in the state they are.

Tell me is the Middle East better and more stable now than before Blair and Bush started their invasions? Hosni Mubarak warned Bush before the Iraq war,do not invade because you will open the gates of hell. Pretty accurate imo. The Middle East is a basket case, its cost us a fortune in money and lives.
