Alcohol, hints, tips, advice etc.

Unusually for me on a Saturday I'm on a day off.Got up early,did two lots of washing and got it on the line drying,shopping done,put it all away.
Suns out,in my conservatory,The Clash are on,only one thing wrong,I'm on this from Aldi.

I went out earlier. Took an hour to drink a pint and then I left the pub at 3-0 with the second half full. I just wasn’t enjoying it.
 
6th pub visit, all with Diet Coke or water. Mates are used to it now so now more “YOURE not drinking???”, loving it. I keep thinking “I’ll have a beer during…XYZ game” but never do

My sleep, weight (37ilbs down), and bank balance are all way better off. Haven’t felt this good for a good number of years
 
Huge game tomorrow night, where no doubt some people may feel like a drink will get them through it.

Don't do it. Stay strong. The boys will make it an easy night for you anyway.

Im on an early.tomorrow,i will be home by 1.15 pm. I'd usually have a rest then start on it at 3 pm when my lad gets in from school,have about five or six 5% drinks,a can walking down for the tram, a few in a pub near the ground,another can after the chippy,a few in the ground.

I still cant get used to not doing it,i miss it terribly,its to the point where I'm almost indifferent to tomorrow night and all that it means.I'm struggling with the mental addiction side as the physical side.

73 days today and by the big game tomorrow 74 days.
