Aleix Garcia - 2016/17 Performances

Very good at getting the ball wide, but less effective at pushing us forward. Problem is that now we're out the League Cup, where do Garcia, Maffeo, and others amass game time?

It's all very well Pep lauding them and describing performances as 'absolutely amazing', but if they then disappear from the frame it all rings rather hollow.

Think we need to see him with Silva or KDB ahead of him.

It was too big an ask on his shoulders to transfer the ball between the lines and play the role of a Gundogan, Silva, KDB.

If Pep has faith in these players they need more game time so when they do start in these games it becomes easier. Lets hope its not like Chelsea last year when we never saw the players again

It was a big step up for him today with the quality of opposition but yet again he didn't look fazed and I only see him getting better the more he gets used to better opposition.

He's gonna struggle to break into the team but when Silva gets older we have a new Spaniard to take his place.

Plays like a veteran never looked flustered hope he gets games and reaches his potential , every chance with Pep as his mentor

Looks a decent player. Needs to be more positive on the ball, but that will come with experience.

He played well tonight, he will get a chance next to Fernandinho and we can rest either silva or gundahan or de bruyn we need to play these kids, also maffeo was good. We were just powder puff in front of goal. Waste of a sub with kompany. we needed a bit more creativity.
