Aleix Garcia

Scholes would not let players waltz past him in midfield, ever. You can't do that in the Premier League. Garcia will have to improve in that area to even stand a chance of making it at City. Kean Bryan could play pretty much all the passes Garcia made, & still kick the shit out of 3 oppo mids at the same time.
An apt description
I really like Bryan and felt he should have been on the bench with Delph and Fernando both missing

Ive never seen Bryan play in such a composed manner as Garcia possesses - he has better vision, technique and is far more cultured in his play IMO - given Bryans superior aggression and industry, they would probably compliment one another.

He was playing vs 10 then 9 men. Bryan has no problem knocking the ball around when in loads of space.

I'm not as big a fan of Bryan as yourself obviously.I can appreciate his attributes and I can see what he's best at...... but his technical ability will always limit him IMO.He's 19 soon......needs a loan I reckon.

I don't think he's bad technically for that position. No worse than Delph or Fernando for instance. He's not David Silva but I don't think there's anything Garcia did in that particular game which Bryan can't. And Garcia got caught on the ball more than once by Juve. Not slagging Garcia & I'm sure he is a more gifted player, but Bryan is currently way ahead of him as an alround player in that role imo. If both were thrown into the first team today, I doubt it would be Bryan who got hooked first.

The thing about Bryan that I really like is he's a good player but he also puts his heart into every game
That's what he's all about and why, even with technical limitations(imo.....), he's got a real chance of making it - i'd liken him more to Joey Barton with Garcia more a Michael Carrick.

Bryan will never make City's first team standards - Marcus Wood is a far better prospect in that defensive midfield position as he is just as physical; but quicker with quicker feet and a great long range passer as well as he spreads the play out wide to people in space whilst under pressure - Bryan often looses the ball in rather dangerous positions and ends up getting booked trying to recover from those mistakes.

I think Aleix Garcia would thrive alongside Wood with his speed/physicality/energy - just like Pirlo did for Juve with Vidal buzzing around him and then Diallo in the Pogba role.
