Only good enough when attacking poor teams at home......for away games or games where you have to defend for a sustained period you can forget him.....basically playing with ten men.

Whilst agreeing that may be he time to move him on, he is another player that has been part our success over the years, and has been value for money.

He was shocking yesterday, worse then against Newcastle. He should be forced to watch that Mane goal again, and hang his head in shame, total slap in the face to the fans that paid the money and travelled. It doesn't surprise me that some of the young players are getting disillusioned, some of the senior players have let themselves down badly this season, yesterday they were shown up in quality and commitment by a 19 year old, yet still get picked with no consequences for poor performances. Angelino deserves an opportunity over Kolarov, he surely can't be any worse.

Has he fuck. He cost a fortune and has never had an extended spell of good form and has consistently been a defensive liability. Never been good enough and his attitude stinks

He has been value for money. His early days were excellent and he justified it at the time. Unfortunately he's been coasting on those days since and it probably would have been best for all involved to move him on last season.

Which early days was he excellent in? Clichy has completely outperformed him pretty much every year they've been here and he's a long way from being a world beater. Pellegrini's first year here is the only one I can remember where Kolarov actually consistently put in quality performances and he got his new contract and then put his feet up.

I agree that he's been value for money. He was first choice left back when we won the league in 14 and has been a key part of our most successful ever team.

Stopping running yesterday was inexcuseable - it was a terry phelan v kanchelskis moment for me - and his defensive play has always been relatively weak but he is a far better player than some on here suggest and offers so much more with the ball than Clichy or Sagna. I happen to think that Sterling and Delph were worse than him yesterday and Otamendi and Bony were at a similar standard. I am also not sure that he is in decline, certainly mot as much as Zabelata appears to be. But as we need to freshen up our fullbacks and Clichy is homegrown I can see him leaving.

He can be good, but he's gone through spells when he has been very poor.

I remember at the end of one season when he was arguing with South Stand at end of the game. His game seems to vary with his attitude. If he's on it he's as good as anyone going forward, but if he's not he is a weak link. Clichy isn't as good as him going forward, but more reliable.

Be wrong if he played then, he's corrupt morally and Grobellaresque without the disguise. Bet on it!
Yea. There can be no way a player who has so blatantly sabotaged the team should play for us again under any circumstances. And that's what he's done in two games now.
