yep, buying tickets off city has never been an easy process. plus naming no names in the ticket office some points are added on which are not legit. have never liked the way the ticketing has been handled. luckily for me i have 5k+ points. i feel for people with less because tbh i think our TO is bent.jrb said:Obvious Mancunian said:to be quite honest i am appalled at how long these tickets have taken to sell
I don't think the club or the official website has helped. Not making excuses. Buying tickets off City is not a straightforward process I'm affraid. Too many silly loyalty point stages and criterias, etc, etc.

It's not City's fault. City wanted to bring the prices down but United would not agree, so, because of that, City had no choice but to keep them at top dollar! The owners would never use our fans like that anyway, you should already know that! I think the main problem is that (for once it must be said) city have over-priced the tickets and it has backfired with a stadium that may not sell out.... I just hope they aren't happy with it because they got more money.
Great thread though and thanks a lot for all the hard work being put in, and let us hope for a noisy sell-out crowd!
The problem is that pricing has to be agreed with the opposing club and I suspect that we've had to compromise as they would have charged more whereas we might have charged a bit less. But isn't around £40 our category A price anyway?Amigo said:I would just like to thank everybody who has helped this thread, it's been really useful for me and I do hope we sell out.
