What I would like to know is whether he can cross a ball as otherwise we ought to just keep Weiss

Clearly that's already been thought about and hasn't gone through, so maybe Mancini rates what he sees in Cerci and what he thinks he can mould him into with the right tutelage.LoveCity said:I haven't seen Cerci so am probably not qualified to comment - but based on the iffy reviews of him by Italian fans, I'm puzzled as to why Mancini doesn't save the 7m and just use Weiss as cover. Weiss is younger but has more experience in big game situations (World Cup with Slovakia, Champions League with Rangers) and is still highly thought of and valued around the same price as Cerci. He also counts as homegrown, which is becoming more and more important now.

The biggest myth peddled about Mancini is that he'll give youth a chance. He hasn't done, and he won't do.
Unless you're his wonderkid. (Balotelli)BillyShears said:The biggest myth peddled about Mancini is that he'll give youth a chance. He hasn't done, and he won't do.
