it's a risky business selecting youngsters when the more impressionable fans seem to believe it's our destiny to win every single game. he plays Boyata, he has a bad game and the usual suspects destroy the manager, (and by implication the young player in question). he plays a youth team in the carling cup, they lose and the faithful want Mancini strung up. can't win, really, can he.

Of course...Mancini can't win. Poor Mancini. Us fans are so ignorant we just don't get it...

When you've not got the persecution complex going and you forget for a moment that you have a vendetta against anyone that's dared disagree with you regarding Mancini, you post some interesting stuff. I've seen him a few times. My opinion is he's got talent but is... fragile when it comes to confidence. Sitting behind a good player and getting his feet wet slowly could be a really good thing for him. The price and the position tells me that this is a squad depth signing who could come good but we won't be completely bound to him if he turns out to be a bum.

Mancini trolls as you call them will be everywhere, the man won us a trophy the first in my lifetime and many other blues too.....

To be honest I can't see us bringing him in...the reason is that for me our pursuit of Sanchez has been logically because AJ isn't quite good enough/ready to do it at the very top level. It's more likely that we'll bring in someone in front of AJ rather than someone to learn from him if that makes sense...

No argument from me. I think we should give those players a chance, too. We'll have to see how it plays out.
