Jesus fucking Christ another sad obsessed-with-City, bitter Everton fan, again! It is a weekly occurance! "Darker Shade of Blue" is actually an okay fella, i wont include him in any of this, but come on you sad fuckers get with the real world! i would never dream of going on another clubs Forums to give them shit, what's the point? alls it shows is massive flaws in your personalitly that you have been sat up all last night not being able to sleep because you've been thinking about what your gonna say to us City fans on here! if Hughes is buying players with no thought at all! Haha, why has he strengthened the exact areas of our team that needed strengthening then? we needed a player or 2 who are good hold up players up front, we needed a striker who can chip in with 10-15 goals (as most of our goals are from midfield) and a player to work his fucking socks off up front! we have been lacking in this area in all of these aspects and is a major reason why we finished 10th last season! and oh look, Hughes signed Santa Cruz, Adebayor and Tevez - exactly the type of players we needed!
then in midefield we had some lovely attacking players who were scoring all of our goals and some good defensive players but we didnt really have that central medfielder who would strike a balance between the two - oh, fuck me look, he signed Barry - exactly the player we needed!
then we needed to strengthen the defence as we shipped far too many goals last season - and look Hughes is trying to sign top 4 quality defenders!

Me too but he signed a new contract with them not long ago, which is a shame coz I don't think he'll be a first choice there and would fit in nicely at City.
 
bassong was mentioned by the so called experts as there best player last season!
when i've seen him he looked good. but if you think about it when everyone else around you is shit. you cant do eveything yourself . again its a squad we are looking at not just 1st 11.

imo i think hughes will play toure and onouha at the back if dont another centre back!

but we have alot of choice and cover at CB

true , it would be suicidal to have mexes and toure at centre back , there too similar, lescott, bassong, alex, ivanovic would be perfect!
 
I don't see why we're only targetting Premier League centerbacks, there's bags of quality at CB outside of the PL and for a lot cheaper too. Honestly don't think Lescott is a real top quality CB and neither is Terry.
 
As i've posted before this is the CB we should be trying to get

Dmytro CHYHRYNSKY - In my opinion this 22 year old is the best CB in the world not playing with a high profile club. Why we aren't interested in him is beyond me. If somebody from City reads this, this guy really needs checking out. He has had the experience of CL football from the age of 18, and is the defesive key, not just for his club Shakhtar, but also the Ukraine national team too. A solid, no nonesense centre half who does the basics and no more. Reminds me very much of Vidic across at the swamp, but with the potential to get better. We should be in for this lad!!!!!!!

Also, Barca have been sniffing around him in the last week, but a deal now looks dead as Dmytro came on as a sub in a Champs League qualifier during the week for Shakhtar, meaning he is now cup tied for the rest of the competition.

Mexes is the man to buy if Lescott doesn't join but not for silly money. I still think Everton will crack over Lescott, they can't turn £20m down.

i dont no this kid but that whole area of europe is somewhere city must explore more often, not that its an issue but that whole area is the only place you get proper value for money. vidic and skrtel bein 2 prime examples, neither cost more than 7.5mil i think.

This lad will cost about £20m but more than worth it.
 
Bassong is SHIT

This is not in doubt. We go for him I wil be gutted. No where near as good as Dunne or Nedum.
 
We lack height in the back 4 (I think we have to be conservative about Kompany's return) so there's little chance of any bid for Bassong. We need a commanding centre-half. An alternative to Dunne
 
a good alternative for lescott in my eyes would be christian chivu this lad is class and has been for a long time , i think he plays in italy somewhere, van buyten would be good to have back
