Question: Do the English as a whole care about Scottish independence? I always thought that Salmond’s hatred of the English was misplaced. After all it’s the Scots who vote against independence that hold Scotland back, not the English.

I think they should have taken the opportunity personally but its their country at the end of the day. You can't ask more than getting a democratic vote.

Imagine having the chance to rid yourselves of Westminster and FPTP and not taking it, holy moly.
