You’ve literally contradicted yourself there. Madrid have a buy back which is valid for 2 years so they can take him back whenever. So that’s literally the term ‘getting a left back for the time being’.

I am not the one putting forward names. You are the one saying we should sign Telles .

I don't think we have a decent left back and disappointed that we haven 't managed to sign one, but I don't watch enough games across various leagues.

I hope our scouts do though, and rather than sign average players in panic, will continue to look for players who will suit the team .

Not sure if you have actually watched Telles play , in which case you may think he is a decent buy.

No need tno get steamed up , neither of us will actually make the decision .

That was Tottenham being stupid enough to have that in the contract. So I'm not contradicting myself at all I'm sure a deal could of been struck for him but to have that in the contact only for Levy is a penny pincher
If you want us to keep signing short term fix and be happy about it more fool you.

From what I’ve seen he’s got a much better touch than Mendy and seems to be a lot quicker than him (which isn’t hard).

Whether he would fit into our system is a question none of us could answer but the above strengths he has should give him a better chance of doing it than Mendy.

If Mendy is the yardstick, then prepare for a relegation battle

Could be bollocks but Sky seem to think that he is signing for the rags.

Of course there's still Cavani and god knows who else to come in after today's humiliation by Spurs.
 
We need to go in for him just to test how much the rags will pay over the odds to shore up that defence!!
