Just watched him being interviewed on breakfast TV, how the fuck have we ended up with this bumbling idiot running the country, he couldn't / wouldn't answer the simplest question.
He doesn't ever answer any questions because he never comes prepare because he can't be arsed. Ruffles his hair up bumbles through his soundbites and has got away with it.

There is also the fact that if he were to answer anything honestly, he would have to acknowledge that everything this government has done has been a disaster for this country. Much safer for him to ignore the questions, stick to soundbites and make out the interviewer isn't being clear. It doesn't fool anyone with a brain but it keeps his core support happy.

Mr Ben and his tiny sidekick went full on cosplay today too

Because they wouldn't fund the extra platforms at Piccadilly, they're going to cut the number of trains through Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Deansgate (and to the airport) to "improve reliability".

where is the money in it? They get charged a fortune for crap facilities already - if nobody invests then its not a competitive market its a cartel - the latter is what the Tories really mean when they talk about the former
Well yes. It was a rhetorical question, because the market economy hasn't provided such facilties.

If the PM believes in market forces, he should say how umpteen private haulage companies (and supermarkets) could agree to fund the better facilities for drivers that the PM blames the industry for not providing (as a cause of driver shortage rather than his Brexit). It's just another obvious example of how government (capitalism) has failed to provide what the market can't.

True it worked for Trump up to a point.
