They had one during the leadership election, Tories don't seem to prefer the truth over lies.

It’s just a case of waiting it out until the sycophants accept that the rotting Eton Mess is unpalatable and push him over the cliff.

I'd be happier if they picked someone worse than Boris in the short term if it meant that they lose the election. Tories always govern for themselves first (even during covid) so we best rid of them as long as possible (i.e. for as long it takes idiots to forget that).

when a significant powerful faction of the tory party bitterly rant that johnson is too leftwing, too democratic, too "european" ffs, the true nature of what they stand for and intend is revealed. A return to a victorian version of democracy, which is about as far from democracy as it's possible to stretch to, that poured millions of pounds of tax-payers money sustaining the southern states's resistance to outlawing the slave trade, shows a mind-set that has not gone away. The EU represents an obstacle, hence the decades-long war against it, it also chimes with putin's ambition for domination of europe, the naked greed of billionaire "free marketeers," (an oxy-moron if ever there was one), the multi-national tax-evading global conglomerates that use governments as puppets. The lingering hope, clung to by a still sizable section of the public that "it'll all blow over" will vanish when it's too late, short of a civil war, like the climate-change deniers, the cant-be-arsed 40% of the electorate, 'Av a nice day...
