I'd missed that he was allegedly back at Downing St by 10 am - sounds highly unlikely that an op would be scheduled really early, that the general anaesthetic would have worn off that quickly and that he'd be discharged and home that soon.

It seems likely that either it's something else, or the briefing was inaccurate.
 
I’ve said this before and will say it again, he is just a populist **** without any interest in people other than who will make him a money in the future. Notice his international speeches where he pronounces ‘to’ but when he’s praying to the UK masses he uses ‘t’, as in Northern speak.

He‘s well versed, many will fall for it and the media will oblige.
