Francois must be unhappy at no top job, already undermining boris.

And acting the ****

I swear these people have some serious psychological problems.

That the ERG won’t vote for the WA even without a backstop is already known. Baker turned down a junior minister post just so he can keep Johnson ‘pure’. Give it a month or so and not even ‘no deal’ will satisfy them.

To be fair Francois must be easy to wind up - and yep being a **** isn't an act with the ****. I wonder how he would react if Juncker or someone from that side called him a Little Englander or a Brexit Extremist? I bet he would play the race card a damn sight quicker than a man from Luxembourg would when he was accused of looking like Hitler..............but hey its ok we are going to negotiate a deal hey?

Graphic example of whilst Johnson has issues with Parliamentary numbers and the EU's willingness to negotiate his biggest issue is support in his own party. Francois is too fucking thick to see how this performance bolsters the EU's resolve against us

Seems even the americans that aren't trump think he's crap

Of course you won't.

The irony is that the Leave side claim that the BBC are biased against their view yet as you say this won't get onto Newsnight for discussion. Of couse as the summer hols come to an end and the conferences are due with a couple of weeks to go we are going to see a different Johnson - one who faces up to the issues - tells the truth and tries to sort things out or the bluff and bluster Boris about to face battles in the court undermining his promise and strategy left with only a GE as a way out

Good point. It makes it easy for Dublin and the EU to point to statements like this and say why compromise when it won’t make any difference? It also means they can point to the intransigence of the U.K. as to why an agreement cannot be reached.

I'm no fan of the backstop but the point you failed to grasp was that it is a matter of opinion whether it would be worse than No Deal, and as MPs have also had several votes rejecting No Deal, any opinion that No Deal is preferable to the backstop cannot be substantiated by the fact that MPs also rejected it.
Nope - the point that you fail to grasp is that if you genuinely feel "......that it is a matter of opinion whether it would be worse than No Deal..."

Then you have either failed to analyse/assess how it will be used or are so keen to win positions on an internet forum that you would accept massive damage to the UK's interests to achieve that aim

Although those options are indeed only my opinion - I really cannot see how there can be others

I accept that you strongly believe that the backstop will cause massive damage to the UK’s interests. Will you accept that leaving the EU with No Deal will also cause massive damage to the UK’s interests?
