Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

Starmer: "is it time to have a joint taskforce to plan for schools reopening?"
Johnson: "why aren't you supporting the government?"

Usual non sequiturs, repeatedly.

And oh look, further measures being announced because it's Johnson Wednesday. Cue 5 pm.

He may not be an overt racist, but he is an exceptionalist and because of that it has undertows of racism attached to it. His comment about piccanin smiles was a comment of an exceptionalist reverting to Imperialist language and belonged in the days of Empire not the here and now. To also use the letterbox analogy was not racist per se, but it was fucking stupid and I think he is the type of man who believes he can say anything because he is an exceptionalist who thinks what he says is immaterial because he is who he is.
Its interesting as I read the piccaninie quote in context. And he used to try and belittle Blair saying he liked playing the colonial master visiting african countries. Ao he used it in an historical context sense.

is it racist to say say that the burka or niqab esembles a postbox? Its a religious item of clothing its not race related. Is it any worse than someone saying a vicar has a dog collar on , or telling jokes about nuns? Or is it jumped upon as offensive because it might insight others? As being a muslim is a easy target these days for racism. I would say the latter. It wasn't helpful in the fight against prejudice.

The thing with a lot of this is that within the westminster bubble the MPs know that BJ has massively fucked up opening schools. Those questions and answers are not always aimed at the general public - he is chipping away at the support BJ has from his own side by flagging the failures. Same with the Lammy report, there will be things happening behind the scenes that the tories would hope will just be forgotten, Starmer is almost saying to them we know you don't want to deal with it but we are watching.

I told people on here before he became PM what to expect. He is a lazy, lying narcissist with a nasty streak. He is educated way beyond his intelligence and is a fucking disgrace to the nation. He was always going to fuck up, because he doesn't give a fuck as long as he has the bauble of PM to put on his mantlepiece. The self entitled ****.

Do things different, no he wouldn't, because he is a lazy ****, way out of his depth and is personally responsible for over 40,000 needless deaths. The **** wants locking up in the Tower of London for crimes against the nation.

The ****.

Are you sure you got enough C words in that Rascal? It made me chuckle.

Mistakes have been made no doubt. However I still like to keep an open mind and judge anyone especially a PM on their record. One of the reasons I still wish to retain an open mind on Johnson is that someone I know worked very closely with him for a number of years. That person's politics were very much left leaning ie hes certainly not a Tory. I asked him several times what he thought of johnson and what he told me doesnt tally with your thoughts infact they were the complete opposite in some areas.

The public inquiry won't do any of them any favours at all, trouble is it won't be till nearer the next election so they could all just resign or walk away and get no grief
I wish I had your confidence but all the paperwork is being communicated through and encrypted system called signal and could easily disappear like it did for the vote leave legal case. I wonder who was involved in that affair as well..? Oh yes, his puppet master DC.

Judge him on his record then. It’s absolute dogshit.

As for your mate, sounds like he’s impressed by big words and bullshit.

I was rather concerned when I saw you'd posted on this thread that you may tend to see the glass as half empty ;-)

My guess is that the Civil Servants involved will have kept detailed notes to protect themselves.

I know I would.

The problem could be in the scope of any enquiry, as the Government will surely limit as much as they possibly can.

"We need to learn from our mistakes. This enquiry we will be open to full scrutiny....of all the scientists involved. Ministers at the time will not be required to participate..."

For all those spouting the hindsight argument just have a look back at the interviews given by Rory Stewart on and around the tenth of March , it blows your bullshit hindsight theory right out of the water .
