I think she simple does not understand economics at a level needed to act on it. If you look at her tweets this seems pretty apparent. If you look at her tweet about croissants being more expensive at an airport this seems to directly demonstrate that. I think the drop in her approval ratings reflect people getting turned off by her.

I think her tweet about "shouting from the cheap seats" showed her up as a snooty elitist so and so. That i feel was the nucleation point for her current situation.

Ocasio-Cortez is a politician who thinks on her feet, so she's not going to get everything spot on; she'd be a robot if she did!

I don't know how much you've actually absorbed in the previous posting, but she's run a train right through the Republican accusations of 'elitism', a line upon which you've been snagged, clearly.

As far as I know, the trajectory of approval has gone downwards with older White men. Probably as she's fighting to represent the and ethnic districts in her borough and the States.

Do you want to post the tweet that is causing you offence for those that don't have twitter?

Where 'economics' are involved, how do you square what #45's economics have done for the 99%...??

I had to stop at 1min46sec. What a complete load of twaddle. Global warming was responsible for Puerto Rico? a place that has been battered by weather systems exactly like what hit it since well before the industrial revolution?

I think climate change sucks and we should work to nullify our catalysation of it. For her to directly attribute global warming to a hurricane in that area is just complete rubbish though. I would immediately ask her to produce evidence for her statement on that before taking a step further.

I applaud her ideals but her politics are infantile at best. She wants to shit on big business a bit and i agree with her fully, they are greedy beyond words. The US "defence" industry for one needs hammering. Otherwise there will be no change. Threaten the entire industry, trust me they would accept being hammered because they still make loads of cash and actually doing anything is just to much hard work for them.

So i applaud her ideals but her idea of change is just not workable in the slightest currently. Beef cattle rearing for example would have to stop dead, air travel would have to be stopped dead. The fallout from a scorched earth approach could set the US economy back decades hence why nobody voted in favour. There should be more serious action taken though i fully agree with her on that.

Check her ratings, that is what matters, not an msnbc (who are a joke) audience cherry picked from her supporters. You can not post anything from msnbc, nbc, cnn currently that is not desperately left leaning. They are democrat lackeys and they can't change that narrative as their viewership are all hard left leaning people. If they did then the money dry's up.
