Funny enough I think you are on to something here :) I've always thought AOC was the Democratic equivalent of Donald Trump.
Both are empty shell representations of the parties they belong to. Both know very little about anything they talk about.
Yet supporters of both consistently ignore the stupidity emanating from both of these chartalans simply because of ideology.
It is clear from any interview of Trump or AOC that they both don't have much of a clue what they are talking about.
It's no surprise that both almost never agree to interviews by real journalists who'd ask tough questions. Trump likes his Fox friends and AOC sticks to MSNBC folks.
