Alexis Mac Allister

It is only illegal if it is done blatantly.

Clubs cannot waste their time negotiating fees if there is a chance the player doesn’t want the move.
It is still tapping up.

Club approach club
Club says ok
Club says to player club A is interested
Player says yes/no
If yes proceede onto negotiations
If no look elsewhere

In one day a club will know if a player is interested.

Then again it is easier to tap the player up early so he can be difficult and get his fee reduced

Come on man, "tapping up" is just the standard way of doing things and everyone does it, ourselves included.

It might not be in the rules but since when has that been important?

Redundant as it's being said here but the more I see of Mac the more I see him in City Blue. He's got the experience in this league with a club that is playing well. I'd take him over JB at this point.

It will be important when, out of the blue, City get charged with 100 tapping-up offences after a 4 year investigation.

So many headers yesterday, posts, crossbars, seems to have a knack at being in the right position for an odd header like Gundo as well.

Of course, but it doesn't make it right and is supposedly still against the rules.

This guy would be my number one target this summer, think Pep could coach him into that winger/centre midfield hybrid role that Bernardo plays. Bags of energy and covers every blade of grass and booted the fuck out of united the other week. Sign him up Pep
