That's fair. I often wonder whether we were better than we even realised and had literally a perfect team all playing on top of their game (during that run where we had like 107 points out of 114) . You guys have raised the bar so high it's hard to make sense of things at times.I don’t doubt Liverpool are a good team
And the levels they reached in the two years 97 points and winning the league the year after we’re amazing
But I think salah is not what he was, van dijk is not what he was and mane was class and is gone
To replicate that is gonna be hard
To be honest though they will be a lot better
So yeah, maybe we were a freak side for 18 months that we wont see again in my lifetime and are all chasing 2nd place till Pep leaves. Can't wait to find out though.

It included the Trent handball at leeds, the Thiago Handball against West Ham, jota non red against spurs, Darwin dodgy penalty against Fulham…..

It is but they need it to be. They have a lot of talent to replace and apparently not that big a pot to do it with if reports are to be believed. They need to sell the likes of Keita for some fancy money. They need a Barcelona / Coutinho level deal to refresh that squad.That’s cheap
