Why does Cucerella make any difference. If the club decide they want Mac Allister and can get him at a price they consider appropriate. Why should it make any difference to me or you. Unless you think the club are reckless with the money. I have seen no evidence of that so have no need to worry about it.

What’s that to do with me or you, the club will deal with FFP . If they want Mac Allister and are happy with the fee what’s it to you ?
If you don’t think he’s any good that’s up to you, but if the club think otherwise, they will probably be right, then the fee is up to them.

i mean, by that logic why are we even discussing anything, were just fans transfers have nothing to do with me and u lol

We can discuss any player and whether we like them for City or not whether they improve us or not, I just don’t see the point of discussing the fee because that makes no difference to the players ability doesn’t make him a different player. We can’t have any idea whether the fee is something the club will or won’t pay.
Take Mac Allister you either think he ‘s a good player for us or you don’t, if we all start discussing whether he’s good for £X but not for £Y that seems a bit pointless to me, because we wouldn’t but him just because he’s cheap.

i agree it doesnt affect how good he is, but like i said ffp makes money a scared resource. in a vaccum it doesnt make a difference but we know for a fact it affect other transfers. take liverpool for example, only taking into account fee can we see whether 2-3 players is worth bellingham for example. same for us.

100% this, our club puts a value on players, all players that we may want.

On Cucurella , Brighton put a value on him that we simply were not prepared to pay ( thank %uck) and we walked away.

If we are prepared to pay whatever fee it takes to get McAlister or any other player it's all good, trust Txiki and co, they have done us proud.

What I really like about him is that off the pitch he comes across as adorably shy and introverted but on the pitch he doesn't take any shit. Reminds me of David a bit, in that regard.

He's a great penalty taker as well. I had no doubts as soon as I saw him holding the ball and none of those Brighton players wanted to take it off him either.
