Huh i am sorry but this is a troll post. Since when is not making it at Barca a bad thing? FFS they got rid of Eto'o who was probably the best striker in the world.EalingBlue2 said:I am not too hung up on our opponents signing, they are luxury signings apart from Costa and don't relate to a need. Costa the only signing g who is filling a real need a real gap at Chelsea and he is a one season wonder who is a lot more of a risk than people think, he is 26 has a 1 in 3 scoring record over 200 odd games and won't have a team built around him. Fabregas I don't understand they have younger fitter better players and he has played in losing sides for a decade with Barca not able to get rid of him quick enough and pushing him out the door.
Sanchez a good player but one of those who you think is 20 when they are 25 and always threatens to be world class but never is. They also have lots of players of that ilk so he replaces someone who is good , arsenal need an aguero or van Persie a Yaya or a Vidal and if they choose to spend elsewhere they are stupid frankly
As for city we looked at what we need to complete the jigsaw and we have gone for the exact players who do that and we are building a team not buying luxury players for the sake of it! Very professional by is and I think we will be stronger next year I am not sure apart from the rags the others will be
25? You call that old. Don't forget he played for Barcelona who are stacked attacking wise. The likes of ibrahimovic and Villa at times struggled because of the tactics being solely built around Messi and rightly so.
Despite this bad post i do agree with one thing, they needed an out and out goal scorer like Suarez or Aguero rather more than a wide wing forward that Sanchez is. but then again you could argue that when players of his quality are available you in no world say no/
When Sanchez is tearing up the PL, i will remember this post.
