Stories of juventus being in for him today. Would you go for him with the possibility of dzeko leaving? Could fit our possession system well coming from barca and has plenty of pace and hustle about him (assuming they haven't turned him into a diving, card waving fairy) could play behind the main man (amongst other positions) and give aguero much needed rest when need be.

Would be good,but we don't want to have both navas and Sanchez battling for rw (his best position) unless we were gonna play wingers in every game rather than our mainly narrow formation.reus would be better as he can play behind and as the striker just like Sanchez but usually plays on the left which were lacking in more

true about the rw reference but did a great job against england in the striker role. would prefer him on the right to navas as i thinkhe has more fight about him (or at least he used to, not seen much of him the last couple of years) he was the player i was most gutted about losing out on hazard aside

Awesome player who has scored loads of goals. He'd offer a lot more than Navas (who would still be a great squad member) on the right.

But surely they won't let him go with their transfer ban?

Made me remember the Sanchez mega-threads when City tried to beat Barca to his signature.

i just cant see barcas ban being upheld. platini willl bend over backwards for them after the initial posturing from uefa. they don't really want their darlings and best tv coverage sellers to be hurt now do they. personally i don't see us being interested as other areas need addressing more but would love him here

i did search through 10 pages to bump the mega thread but got bored
