It's all starting to sound like Wenger is resigned to losing him. It's as clear as day that he doesn't want to be there. Perhaps realism is starting to sink in. You can't keep a player that doesn't want to play for the club, lacks confidence in his teammates and doesn't respect the manager.
when questioned post match on the Arse's gut-less display, Wenger said that there were reasons for it, which he couldnt go into at the moment. This is undoubtedly a prelude to wenger saving face by moaning a bucket load (The minute the window shuts) to his media mates, about Sanchez being tapped up etc, and how, in the end, despite doing all they could, once his head had been turned, by "big bad, classless City", he just couldnt be persauded to stay
