I've been saying this (well, almost this) for a long, long while and continue to be baffled that so many neutrals hate Spurs more than them. Other than the rags, there's not a club I come close to hating as much as them, and its exactly because they believe they are morally superior to other clubs, which is a convenient ointment for their pain when the results go against them. Ha, the notion that we're just twiddling our thumbs, oblivious to the timescales, makes me laugh.

I´m sure thats not the case Ric but understandably our owner prefers secrecy to reign on transactions and most other aspects of the running of City.
We therefore rely on others to get a feel for our progress even to the point where there is uncertainty as to whether we even have interest in any player.

Differentiating between fact and fiction is part of our discussion on this and similar threads but obviously the transfer team have a strategy and presumably it is being carried out their way but perhaps like some negotiations it is twiddling thumbs time for us after making known an offer.?
