Alexis Sanchez

It can't be about finishing chances. He's never been that prolific before last season. I remember Yaya getting 20 plus goals once. If all we wanted were finishers he'd have kept Nacho.

Play him close enough to goal and he'll score 20+. Especially in a team as attacking as ours. But he will also create chances for Aguero/Jesus/Sterling/Sane.

That's the beauty of him. We're getting both goals and creativity. And you can never have too much of either.

I think we should offer "an undisclosed fee, thought to over 50m, rising further if certain goals are reached".

Its their job.... Talkshite spin a web of BS to hook in their client base... As I see it the plan is working.... I stopped listening months ago but have had them on the last two days..

I now know why I sacked them off...

I agree, any sensitive City fan who regularly tunes in must be a masochist.
Any other listener, continue with your daily therapy of partial truths designed to remove your common sense.

He is 7 years younger and was one of our best players last season, no one knows just how good sterling can become in 5 years he could be playing at a higher level then Sanchez. Sterling could easily be a first team player for 10 years Sanchez maybe 3 would insane.
Wouldn't normally be pedantic but am getting pissed off with this seven years younger nonsense...it's SIX!Raheem dob 8/12/94 Alexis dob 19/12/88. Not having a go at you personally but it's bloody everywhere.

So Arsenal seemingly spent the Summer refusing to negotiate the transfer of Sanchez, and after their defeat at Anfield they have realised that they simply have to sell him to rebuild their team morale. What are they going to do if they don't sell him? Have him play with the Academy players and let him rot for a season?

They've misread the situation, and found they have to sell him. But there is absolutely no point in trying to read what is going to happen with this transfer now. Arsenal have operated irrationally throughout and it will probably continue. I'd be quite happy if he stays where he is. I think he might improve City in the very short term, but we'd probably have to buy again very soon to replace either Aguero and or Sanchez so for me this is far from ideal and reminds me very much of the RVP transfer

Ha ha I am really enjoying the meltdown and all the fuss not really bothered whether we buy Sanchez or not though if he came that would be great. I know its probably bollocks but I really don't want Sterling going the other way.

He's played 25 league games less than Kun in his career and scored 90 league goals less than him. In his career, he's played 20 games less and scored 130 less goals. I just don't see we are guaranteeing winning anything by signing this bloke and, if we're paying £50M+, in the last year of a players contract, he has to guarantee winning one of the big pots.
