70m would be a fair price for all parties imo. We had to try lower fair enough, but with deadline day around the corner I wish we would stop messing about and get this over the line! It's almost worth giving them even more money, say £90-100 million just to see the meltdown of Arsenal fans when they bank the lot of it, don't spend a penny and replace Sanchez and the Ox with an unknown player on a trial from some Azerbaijan 3rd division side.

Pretty obvious the sticking point is Arsenal. Logistics will come into it later.

We aren't been given a running commentary you know. The fee may be agreed but we are awaiting his release from national team duties. Or maybe Arsenal still haven't accepted our bid. Neither are outlandish scenarios. But you know different. So when the fee is confirmed please let everyone know. Thanks.

I don't find Arsenal fans particularly offensive comparing them to other London clubs like fucking Spurs..They're just a bit 'Vanilla' to me..generally couldn't give a toss about them on any given day

As a previous poster said..they've had it good for years in the traditional top 4..but they are not coping with the changing landscape too well

Suppose I just find it funny that every season Bluemoon complains about a fiver being added to our season tickets whilst Gooners have to remortgage their homes to watch mediocrity year in year out

I have mixed feelings on this saga. There is the part of me that remembers us signing Christie and Samaras and says we should negotiate hard to get the best deal, the guy is out of contract in a year etcetera. The other part of me thinks, come on we are the richest club in the world, if we want to be right up there competing get it done! I hope we do.

My family and I did the stadium tour a couple of weeks ago, and the guide said the centre of the pitch is 11 inches higher than the touchline; it's really curved when you're next to it!
