Yeah I get it, you dont rate him highly. I'm just saying not one of our players can produce goals and assists combined like Sanchez does. He's not messi, but he is a world class player. He's the best player in our squad if he signs and instantly improves our chances of winning trophies. If he doesn't sign, then okay, we've probably just got enough to challenge on all fronts.
im sure Wenger thinks they are still in it, not just for top 4, for the title, with what they have so he thinks why sign more players??... He's a bit delusional, he just said this week Sanchez is happy and may still re-sign. Nobody watching the Liverpool game can believe that, except him. And that's his prerogative. he is probselling the board "let me keep Alexis, we'll def get back in CL". I think he's wrong, and I think they'll prob be lucky to finish in an EL spot this season. They'll likely loose both AS and Ozil next summer for nothing and will not be able to replace them with players near that talent level. Wenger will prob getf fired. They'll be in the weeds for a few years. Really is incredibly short sighted on their part. Can't let a 70-something year old guy struggling to save his job/legacy make decisions with potential long term ramifications.Of those number 2 stands out. They cannot let him go without a replacement, otherwise they're toast. But it would be surprising if, knowing this was a likely situation all summer, that they hadn't got someone at least lined up?
Yes but clubs not only put out info through various sources but also agents and clubs will be in communication. The truth is none of us have a clue what's really going on. Logic tells me it would be stupid for Arsenal to not sell him and I'm not as desperate as others so it's not wishful thinking. If Arsenal do nothing they will not make top 4 with Sanchez anyhow. The fee and saved wages can either get someone in now or later to help them back into the top 4 next season.
We can't rule out them being stubborn and if city believe they can't be this daft and that's how they are playing it then it's a gamble.
I simply do not agree with you at all. Yaya is better than Sanchez in my view.
