IF the reports end up being true, why the hell would we agree a deal with Arsenal subject to a condition of them getting a replacement? We've been in for the player all summer - Arsenal knew of our interest .... so why not simply state our offer for Sanchez? Why allow the deal to be agreed with these (other player) terms. Bizarre.

They have no intention of signing a replacement. They already have their excuse for next summer as well, "Sanchez leaving on a free means we have no money incoming for players"

They don't want to sell him is the bottom line. Wenger has drawn his line in the sand, probably fearing the fan backlash if he allowed this to happen. Those fans will probably claim this a victory but then in a few months it will hit them that he is walking away for nothing next summer.
 
What time you reckon it'll get announced then,I'm going for 10:30ish. People need to chill out lol it's fine. Everything is agreed
