It gets taxed if he's paid it as wages as well, still 7.5m in his back pocket.Would a sign on fee not get taxed as income? So on a reported £15m sign on fee, ~£7.5m would be lost. What terrible business surely
Or have I got that wrong - not sure how players get around it if they do
