Their top earners are on more than 200k already, there's no other explanation for a 250m wage bill.

Granted Fergy was probably a more astute manager than his opposition in the main during a fair chunk of his time at Manure but in the main the had well balanced sides with a never say die attitude as well which goes a long way to continued success.

Other than their keeper who was bought in during Fergie's reign anyway have they actually bought in a player who you honestly say has been a raging success sine he left?

Moyes and Louie were left high and dry on the transfer front so were bound to fall well short whereas Mou has been given his every wish so far and will continue to be accommodated yet we all know he will leave the club within the next 18 months.

For those who dont believe it is a position that needs urgent attention, watch the first half of the Bristol semi -final and then work out despite us over running teams we are getting out of jail by nicking one in the last few minutes

A little like Manure when they won 13 titles under Fergie.

Not Wenger's decision.
He has had his last chance,
- to get Sanchez to sign a new contract. Which was a stupid assessment from the start.
- to get the best out of a slapped player who already was off, deep inside. Which didn't take into account fundamental human behaviour about fairness.

Bottom line we did learn once again: if a player wants to leave, let him leave.

That seems to be Pep's philosophy, if a player doesn't want to be here, off he goes. & that is sure to be his attitude with Sanchez now.

The fact that City haven't already pulled out of this deal, in public, means they have had no indication from Sanchez, that he has any doubts imo.

I recon if he even mentioned considering Utd, Pep would just tell him to go sign for them.

Anyone else reading into our Instagram post, "Too much firepower for those Gunners!" about how we beat them in 2013...

100% - Pep always says that if a player is not fully committed he wouldn't want them in his squad. Great stance by Pep and the club over this.

Sometimes it's worth remembering that we're the club 15 points clear in the league, in a cup semi-final, and bookies favourites to win the CL, playing the some of the best attacking football the country has ever seen and breaking 130 year old european records.

There will be world class players absolutely desperate to come play for us, and as much as I'd like Sanchez here, he's not such a big catch that we should be begging and smashing all our wage structures just to convince him to come. If he isn't 100% committed, another world class player will be.
