When Tevez came we were all happy to Gazump the rags I loved it. and despite his shenanigans proved to be a magnificent buy who carried us further forward .I was not sat working out the pros and cons money wise its our team not our money. i would not celebrate the fact weve pleased the bank manager but i would if we won the title
Very true, but Tevez came and there was not even a question mark at the back of anyone's mind that he'd be a success. He was what mid-20s at the time. I don't think you can compare a player in his prime mid-20s with Sanchez who is at the end of his career or nearing it.
The difference between Tevez and Sanchez is that if things weren't going your team's way, Tevez really would scrap and win a game by himself

Such a strange feeling this one. Happy to see Sanchez leave, was sick of the saga a while ago. However, there's no doubt we're strengthening a rival. However, IF we sign Auba & Mkhit as the replacements for Sanchez & Walcott, then that arguably makes us stronger as well. I'm hoping for a defender as well, even if it's JFE (yuk)! Would be pretty content at that scenario given we had put ourselves in such a shit prediciment.

Well the obvious flaw in that one, without maths, is that he would have been playing all season & is now no longer worth that, hence City are offering what he is worth now, wheras Utd are doubling it, because it's the only way they can get him to choose them.
I can see it now,if the rags want to re new any of Big Nose,Pogba,Lukaku or Romero or even try and buy another Raiola player.
