Honestly can't imagine anyone, especially when they run a business, being so bitter that they won't accept a £50mil bid for one of their players that they WILL lose on a free next year.
Madness!
I'm personally not that arsed about him, reckon their could be younger better options out there, but Christ on a bike wtf are arsenal thinking of, 50 mill is snap your hand off time.

You probably need to go "shout" into Txiki's letter box then, because he certainly won't be listening to the needy on here.

Got me.

They'd get it back if he got them CL football. I think he's more valuable to them than us as he's their one genuine world class player. They also allow him license to go where he wants. At City he would not be able to play everywhere.

If City get most our defensive targets in, then our rebuilding will be almost done. Next Summer we can spend the £200m or whatever it is on 1-2 players including a world class striker. Bayern were right. You don't buy a 29 year old striker unless it's on your terms, especially one for whom power and pace has been such a big part of his game.

City fans seem to be entirely focused on Alexis Sanchez's stellar past where his assists and goals have been out of this world but he is only human. It wont last. When we replace Aguero, we want to be doing it with a young player who will grow with the club

Right? It's absolute bloody madness

You may very well think that Marvin, but you'd be wrong. Have you ever heard the phase "A Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"? And besides, even if he does single handed drag the ever underachieving and blatently lackadasical arsenal to top 4 again then they still have to replace him spending money. I stand by what I say. Utter, utter madness

Khaldoon and Txiki aren't pulling punches this summer. If, and it's still unlikely, he doesn't come, they will back Pep to the hilt, and could well drop £70-80m on Ousmane Dembele. Maybe Aubameyang. It will be a big signing.

They aren't going to be left regretting money not spent next May, we aren't going to get Scott Sinclair this time.

So what's to worry about?

If he comes? Brilliant.

If he doesn't? Someone equally as exciting will take his place and win trophies while Sanchez plays in Kazakhstan on a Thursday.
bingo.

I'm getting the feeling you don't want him Marvin, but you do it in such a subtle way, its hard to be completely sure.....

Mbappe is the man. Real madrid can't buy everyone and have got Asensio coming through. They do buy Mbappe then they have to let some star go. We can do better than Alexis because Alexis of 29 and 30, is not going to be the Alexis we saw at 26,27 and 28.

Spot on

I would not be gutted by any means as he is a top player, but I don't think the benefit would be as good as imagined. get the players in we need, and then in another window buy the very best when Aguero's time is up.
