If you don't sell Sanchez this summer then there's no chance that he signs a new deal.

He'll have his pick of any club in the world as a 29 year old free agent and his signing on fee will be more lucrative than any deal Arsenal can offer him.

You either cash in this summer or lose him on a free next summer. Then again Sanchez being able to talk to clubs around March time offers Wenger the perfect excuse when your season takes the annual bottle job.
