I love Manchester but London is a far superior place to live.

You have to be England raised to really choose to love living in Manchester over London I reckon.
London is shit I hate it. The hype is bollocks.

I think they will sell him & if they do, this whole business has been really fucking stupid, from their p.o.v.

If we heard Aguero was doing sonething like this, I'm pretty sure most of us would want him fucked off asap & the money used on the team. Not to keep him then give him to Utd or Chelsea (or City) for free.

I don't know why they didn't just ask him two months ago, then sell him.

The thing is for you guys you could go out and buy say an Aubameyang or just use Jesus and replace Aguero that way. We can't do that, no player in world football can replace Sanchez apart from Suarez.

I have days where I doubt him staying, this is one of those days. We're being heavily linked with Lemar for £55m including add ons, apparently the deal is close. Would Wenger really buy a player for 55m and not start him? Baring in mind we only have 3 attacking positions...

Arsenal and Wenger are counting on Sanchez not having the bottle to force this through. Arsenal have put a huge offer on the table so despite Wenger's press conference comments - the one scenario Arsenal are heading off is Sanchez leaving for free next summer - he signs an extension or gets sold.

I wouldn't live there, but with it being arguably the most cosmopolitan City in the world I can understand why footballers would want to live there over the likes of Manchester and Liverpool.
I prefer players who play for a club for its football, not the local nightlife...

But as fans, surely you would rather support players who want to play for you ?

If you can't get a Sanchez, how about one, or even a few exciting young players with something to prove ?

I don't get it at all.

Yeah stubborn and stupid, they must think that the nearer the season gets maybe he's going to have a change of heart, but going off reports he wants out and nothing else...

I agree with you there, I'd rather have players who want to play for the club. Like I said a few days ago if Sanchez turns round and says he really does want to leave and wouldn't be playing for the shirt then he must be sold.

None of this superiorty bollocks, just get rid and get in Mahrez and Lemar.

The ONLY agreement I can see happening for him to stay is if he and Wenger agree that Alexis will play for the shirt, Alexis is happy to do so but not sign a new deal and leave next summer.

I'd be fine with that unless we were offered stupid money in the 80m range.

Agreed, but it's changing times now.

Going are the days when players couldn't pick and choose their locations.

Now that most footballers at the top end are pretty much multi-millionaires before they hit their prime, they want a lifestyle choice on top of their big move.

In the next few years I think it will be increasingly harder for teams in the north of England to attract the top division players over southern based clubs.

Us and United will not be hit as hard because we offer decent wages, but if you are a Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle etc etc... it will get harder.

Look at Sanchez. He chose Arsenal over Liverpool because they were in London. That was just after the season they finished 2nd.

Gary Neville made this point last year.

Thats why we are lucky to have players we have... Not too many ravers so to speak.
