Alexis Sanchez

I think Peps got balls selling Aguero and bringing in Sanchez. He'll be second all time scorer this season and probably the highest ever if he stayed. Is Silva our only older player who is safe?

I really can't see any scenario in which anyone is happy if we have 2 of Aguero, Jesus, Sané, Sterling and Sanchez on the bench in every game. It's just not feasible.

It might be a challenge but one I'd love to see Pep have a go at. This MCFC so we know that there will be injuries and suspensions. Also, 3 of those guys are still very much learning their trade and a bit more rotation would not hurt them; however, none of them would be happy on the bench.

I'd get Sanchez signed and then see what happens; in particular, how Sergio reacts.

I don't want to see Sergio go but I think signing Sanchez is a must, if we can. If Sanchez came and Sergio left, I'd sign Llorente to give us a big guy upfront option.

This has seemed like the obvious move since there were rumours about him not signing a new contract with Arsenal

He can play any of the three front positions, which Pep loves

What would his other options be ? Chelsea, potentially if they sell hazard but I dont think they will, United are apparently after Griezman, Liverpool, cant afford his wages, Tottenham, no way

He could go to Bayern , Juventus or Madrid but I doubt they would give him the £300k a week he wants plus Madrid dont need him and will be against signing a Barca cast off

Also, there is next to no chance that Aguero will be staying if he comes in

He will be brought in as first choice CF, but all four (Sanchez , Jesus , Sane , Sterling) are interchangeable , they could all play at the same time in some games, you could just drop Sanchez or Sterling into one of the free 8 positions

There is also the advantage that he is a bit older so he wont be blocking the pathway for our younger players , with Jesus being the main man in two or three years

Exciting times...

This would be my preference as well, a great plan B from the bench,

Put De Bruyne out wide ... crossing to someone who is dominant in the air, with Sanchez buzzing around to pick up the pieces

Sanchez would be a welcome signing but at £50m, that is a too generous fee for a player who only has one year left on his contract.
