People who think Sanchez will come in and Aguero will stay as well have lost it.

Absolutely zero chance of this happening. 5 players for 3 positions will mean one will barely play. Selling Aguero and bringing in Sanchez would be a masterclass. 0 net spend and we would have a player that can play across the front 3. Sanchez, Jesus, Sterling, Sane is the perfect 4. Sane has been a little bit inconsistent lately and Jesus might be as well at one point. Sitting out will a few games will improve their fitness and let them get their head right. Plus having these 4 mean that there will always be a gamechanger coming off the bench. This is so undervalued and something we really lacked this season. I'm sorry but Nolito and Navas are not game changers. Imagine having the option of bringing on Sane or Sanchez in the second half. The opposing team would be shaking in their boots.

Sanchez, Jesus, Sterling, Sane would be amazing. Everyone would be on their toes. Sane right now knows that even if he plays bad he'll start because the gap in quality between him and the back up is extreme. We would need a 5th attacker, someone who is happy to sit on the bench most of the season and get a few sub appearances and very minimal starts. This role could be filled by a veteran like Nolito, who could leave but then again he would probably have to take a massive wage cut. Or it could be filled by a youngster such as Sancho if he could make the set up or Roberts who would be perfect but I feel this role would hinder his progression.

Aguero would go for more than £50mil, we'd made a profit

Under Mancini and Pellegrini in both title winning seasons we had 4 strikers for 2 positions so I don't see why we can't have 6 battling it out for 3.
3.5 really, Jovetic was a crock and Tevez was off playing golf :)

True. I just think Pep would love to have the pick of six from Aguero, Jesus, Sanchez, Sane and Sterling for those front three positions.

I still wouldn't rule out Aguero leaving, but let's see.

I have seen Juve play numerous times and Dybala is a really good player but I would pick Alexis over him any day of the week. Dybala is more of a second striker and we don't have a place for a player like that in our system unless he plays on the wings or as a free 8 which may not be the best way to utilize his talents. Also, he is not a goal scorer, and the only thing our attacking front lacks is converting chances
If we'd have both i'd be delighted if it was possible. But yeah Alexis edges it,was only leaning towards Dybala cause think he has more to come in his locker.Sánchez's reinvented his position as a CF slightly this season and hasn't looked out of place..He'd be an almost perfect fit.Weakens a 'rival' too cause nowhere in this market are Arsenal getting a replacement of his ability and level in the present market even for the said 50 M £.

Easily possible. 50-70m is the range I would say.

18 goals and 9 assists in the league. Sanchez has put Arsenal on his back this season. I see some say 50m is a lot, its not when we win the league. Also, for 50m Arsenal won't buy a player half as good as Sanchez. Michy Batshuayi went for 33m ffs!! They probably wouldn't even spend the 50m on one player. Would rather spend that money on 2-3 average players knowing Arsenal.

I agree with that.

Looking back and Arsenal probably got Sanchez on the cheap considering what he has done since joining them, finding another gem like that for the £35m they paid for him is hard. It was the same with Liverpool and Suarez.

If we get Sanchez that significantly weakens Arsenal. If we do keep Aguero, to have him Sanchez, Sane, Sterling and Jesus as attacking options and that should seriously rival what the likes of Madrid, Barca and Bayern have to offer going forward.

The great thing about all those 6 players is that they are not fixed to one position, only Aguero is really an out and out position player as a main striker.

Who's the 6th? :p

Arrrrrrh!

If kun is to go () then Sanchez makes sense. Ultimately we would have attacker options of Gabriel Jesus and Sanchez against our current Kun and Nacho. Seems a stronger pairing for me.

Surely you should be comparing Jesus and Sanchez to Aguero and Jesus, thats the choice not so easy to decide then.

I agree with the first part but don't think there is any chance Kun stays if we get Sanchez for a variety of reasons mainly being 5 quality attackers for 3 positions is too much especially as Kun can only play one position and also maybe even more importantly we don't have the budget to keep both. 50m is a lot of money and would significantly dent our budget without Kun going out. I am of the opinion that Kun is 100% leaving. Sanchez would be the best replacement available. Really think we'll win the league if he comes.

If he does come there is no way its for squad rotation, it will be to start and imo i reckon Sergio is on the way out, i had that feeling when Pep met him and his agent earlier in the year even though it was claimed it was for a friendly dinner, i thought it odd at the time
