Alexis Sanchez

I do wonder whether Pep sees Sanchez as a must-get purely because he's top class, or whether failure to snap him up means we are still on the market.

I wouldn't want another forward in the mix unless they were top bracket, like Sanchez.

I think adding a player of Sanchez's quality is a priority it puts us that bit closer to the real top teams and stops them getting better. Also it puts arsenal out of the title race/top4 imo

If anyone's been wondering what Sanchez is up to on his holidays, he's made this video-

That's right, he's made his dogs a video and posted it through their instagram account which he runs.

Well Arsenal can resist our interest for a bit, but if Sanchez really does want to move to City, then I think they will eventually have to sell. How long will Bayern hang around for. Hopefully there will be some movement in advance of the Confederations Cup

I think city are quite relaxed about this I mean we haven't been linked with any other forwards like we have with right backs and left backs when we do that's when city will be getting fed up with arsenal.

No gooner can keep us apart.

I think he recognises that Sanchez is world class and if we are to take the next step, even beyond the league, we need more than just potential.

That said, Sanchez is the perfect Guardiola player, he comes already adept at the system and is exactly the kind of player that can scratch Pep's itch for more ruthlessness in the box.

He's in Russia with the Chilean National Team preparing for the Confederation's Cup

Pep in Pep Confidencial, "The special players are the ones who can pass, and the ones who can keep the ball!"
Presumably, that's his definition of the perfect player for him.

Sanchez 16/17:
1. Most misplaced passes in EPL. 73% completion.
2. Second most dispossessed player in Europe.

Can see that his work rate, mentality, and end product are the main attractions about him, but I reckon these don't make the 'perfect Pep player' so to speak.

If this does happen, I don't want it to be announced with Alexis holding a shirt.

I want him to be dressed casually, and the dogs are wearing sky blue.

Or maybe just txiki with the dogs.

All reports indicate that Bayern might be his most probable destination if he leaves. Today's news say that bayern would pay 35M to arsenal. They are such low-balling c***s. Do they ever try to pay the proper price for a player?

Only if he wants to go there, the indications are he wants City which will kill any deal to Munich dead in the water irrespective of how much they offer.

That old chestnut. These stats have been debunked before (he's not even top ten most dispossessed in Europe in terms of "bad touches/control" and misplacing so many passes, yet maintaining a completion percentage north of 70, is testament to just how many he made) but that's irrelevant.

I'm not talking about him being a Pep player because he's good on the ball, I mean he has played under Pep and understands his game. It's well known even seasoned players take time to adjust to Guardiola's system, but Sanchez comes already broken in and proven to thrive in it. He plays in multiple positions and is a proven creator and scorer. It's no wonder Pep wants him.
