I agree. Hoping that rings true for Mbappe. I'm sure we'd land him if it wasn't this crowded.

we always need world-class, guaranteed scorers. As does every single team. In 2012 we had Serge, Tevez, Mario and Edin. 4 absolutely top drawer strikers, 2 of which (Tevez and Serge) would walk into any team. They all scored 20+ in that season. Last season, we had Serge on 20+ and NOBODY else. That tells me we are in serious need of additional firepower. This guy is the bollocks. Another Tevez. He's a defender's nightmare. Do we NEED him? Yes. Would we LIKE him? Yes. We'd fucking LOVE him. He. Is. Mustard.
 
As good as Sanchez is I m not convinced that he is what we need, I would be much happier strengthening our midfield.
 
A poor game from Sanchez, and a poor tournament from him. Some will say, and have said, he's a great player with great years to come, I think you can see that he doesn't have the pace to beat players any more, and you can't disregard that. Following from that he'll lose the ability to create an extra bit of space in the box, and get his shots away before shooting. You'll see him become a midfield playing long balls like Rooney, and many other great forward players, but I don't think we want him to do that. Most will disagree but that's my opinion.

I hope we get the defensive players we need, and if we can find a forward then make it one for the future. No sense in replacing Aguero with Sanchez. We don't need to do this. Hope we think again
 
It's July 2, we are in a solid position, need to relax and focus on other business (fullbacks). This one will either work or it won't. Excellent chance we get Alexis either this year or next, and if it doesn't our longer term (building through talented youngsters) direction is solid. I for one am enjoying the journey.
 
I like his addition of Agüero in that post. Sure to catch a few more with that.

In the 2012 Season, in all competitions, only Sergio scored 20+ goals, Dzeko got 19, Balo 17 but Tevez only got 4.

Yeah, we would definitely be on the verge of something special if he was to join the already dizzying array of talent at our disposal.
