I see no reason why he shouldn't confirm this on television during the Confederations Cup.
I agree, if Sanchez was signing a new contract someone would have got wind of it by now.
Unless staying means holding him to his contract, which is possible.

Probably nothing but as he's been there 2 years today, maybe he's not said anything is that he's due a 'loyalty' bonus at the end of every year and saying something could jeopardise that
