Overtaken the "It's quiet" thread!!
Not sure why everyone is panicking.
Both Billyshears and Tolmie said that Arsenal had agreed the deal last night.
I don't think clubs announce that they hadn't signed someone do they? The deal is only dead when City announce it so.
Seems its lose lose if he stays at Arsenal
I could be wrong but fairly sure contracts can be signed subject to medical, before the deadlineHow can Lemar do a medical if he's playing in a WC qualifier?
ThisDon't think we should stress about this one. Great if he comes, but we already have a great squad and can get potentially him on a free next season. The only losers are Le Arse.
Now he can sign.Overtaken the "It's quiet" thread!!

Coutinho to Barca will go through tomorrow.Coutinho tried his best to force Liverpool's hand, he just left it too late.
Arsenal have known about Sanchez wanting to leave all summer, he has a year left on his contract, it isn't out of the blue. He could've done much more to push for the move, made it uncomfortable for them. We could've utilised that to make concrete bids sooner. That could've made the difference.
I said Arsenal are most culpable though, clearly, so don't try and present this as me trying to pin it all on City. "People like me". Fuck off. Whopper.

Don't get your hopes high. Pep will not be fuming at Txiki anytime soon. Transfers became a very complicated business, and no one here could claim they know all detail of what has been going on in this transfer or others. If I were Pep I'd be fuming at Txiki.
Pissed about with Alves and we got shown up, now pissed about leaving it last minute for Alexis. . . Fuck's sake.
I hear you, personally I think this is going to happen. If they kept him it would be a nightmare for them the rest of the seasonAs John Smith is supposed to be fairly reliable, I took this to mean City told him they haven't heard anything from Arsenal because this is all a smokescreen for them to save face.
So playing nicey nicey comes before signing a player and winning trophies? You've considered the very real possibility that Pep and our owners may have asked Sanchez not to kick up a public stink, of course? Given that our owners use City to promote the UAE and hate negatively publicity, and then add in the relish with which the media loves to try and tarnish our reputation, and I'd say City having told Sanchez not to go down the route of transfer requests and strikes is a very likely eventuality
My conclusion too.
Our chase for Jamie Pollock got me hard, I cannot deny it.
Do you know something?Expect the odds to shift in our favour again in the coming hours
