Still don't see it happening. Speculating (what else is there to do!) I'd say we intended to wait until the summer and probably communicated that to him and to Arse which in turn meant they probably didn't plan to need a replacement in January. Now with Jesus's injury there is a more pressing need but once again it looks like Arse won't have got any options lined up for this window so probably won't sanction the move.

Don't think Jesus' injury has much to do with it, and I doubt him being FA Cup tied would put us off either tbh, it's so apparent Pep wants him.

Yeah we need to get this sorted. What could we possibly be waiting for? We have Aguero as our only actual striker and a lot of games coming up.
